UPCOMING FESTIVALS... and Toronto AFTER DARK was a BLAST!

TORONTO PREMIERE WAS A SUCCESS!

First off, THE REVENANT won the Silver award for best Independent feature at the Toronto After Dark film festival. We were ecstatic when we saw that the admission line went all the way around the block! Fans waited in the most outrageous and AWESOME zombie attire I’ve ever seen. How did I not know that Toronto has this insanely huge Horror fan base? The screening went great and we were flattered by some impressive reviews we received. You should check out the links below.

By the way, if you haven’t made it to Toronto After Dark yet, you’re MISSING OUT! The festival was so much fun and planned to perfection. Thank you to the festival director Adam Lopez who is so passionate about the films he believes in that he programmed the best films. Another must see he played was DEAD SNOW. We were scheduled with after DEAD SNOW, as a double feature. They were a tough act to follow.

SOME EXCITING FESTIVALS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS . . .

THE REVENANT will be screening at the Alamo Draft House in Austin for FANTASTIC FEST. Our screening will be on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26th @ MIDNIGHT, and on THURSDAY OCTOBER 1st at 7:00pm.

The director will be attending and you can catch him after the screening for a Q & A.

We will also be screening in October at SITGES FILM FESTIVAL in Spain, CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and SCREAM FEST IN L.A. Screening times will be posted some time soon.

Revenant Screening At Toronto After Dark.

While its been a while since we've updated the blogs, we've still been hard at work on The Revenant, showing our latest screening at Toronto After Dark Film Festival, in Toronto, Canada!

The festival runs from August 14-21, and our film will be screening Sunday, August 16, at 9:30 P.M. at the Bloor Cinema.

Tickets are $12, but as a part of "Zombie Appreciation Night", those dressed as one of the glorious undead will get half price off (or a mere $6, to save you the math).

The film is co-presented by our friends of the Toronto Zombie Walk.

We apologize for the last minute announcement, but we've been very busy with working on this particular print of the film, so we hope that you'll be pleased with the results.

See you in Toronto this weekend!

Don't Forget To RSVP!

To those who check out our blog, we just want to remind you to RSVP to "revenantevent@gmail.com" if you are interested in attending a potential screening in Los Angeles, California next month.

We'll have more details soon, but this screening will largely take place based on fan interest in seeing the film. Your support will help us determine our next screening location in date. Have a favorite venue that you would like the see The Revenant screen at? Let us know! We're here to make the film experience as fun as possible for all of our fans.

As for the film, we've added some more special effects to the picture past what was seen at CineVegas. We are almost "done" with getting everything together, and I think previous viewers will be pleased with how far the film has come along since our next viewing. We've got some good stuff coming, so get excited!

As always, thanks to everyone for all of their support. You make the long hours spent working on the film more than worth it.

The Revenant Wins An Award At CineVegas!

We apologize for the lack of updates the last few days. We're taking a little behind-the-scenes downtime to figure out what direction to go to now that CineVegas is over.

We did win an award, however. We won the "Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature", which means that you guys love us. And we're appreciative for that. Both screenings turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone involved, and it's been enjoying a lot of great feedback (and just catching our breath after such a busy month).

We'll be back to our regular updates next week, but thanks again for all of your great support. We'll have all new things for you to check out (including some website changes), so we'll keep you posted!

Harry Knowles Sees The Revenant.

Last night was our second screening of The Revenant, which was another extremely full theater. As the line formed for the second screening, we noticed Harry Knowles from Ain't It Cool News was lining up for the film as well, which was really exciting, considering how prolific a film reviewer he is.

Well, Harry has posted his review, and as the title reads, he was "blown away".

It may have been our second screening, but it was no less as busy or exciting. Thanks again to everyone for checking out our film over the last few days, and know without a doubt you'll be be seeing us in theaters again very, very soon.
